Wow, what a look! These are some of our very most iridescent and lustrous pearls! (and that's saying something, because we have good pearls! ) gorgeous large 12mm freeform pearls, each one a natural work of art and color, in a hand-knotted strand! The clasp is a sterling version of the platinum original, complete with screwheads and a very realistic keyhole lock. No, it doesn't actually lock, or have a key to open it. Would that it were so. that would be pretty cool. But the padlock does certainly work as the clasp, closing through the two ends of the necklace as shown. You could add another element if you liked, perhaps a sterling key or other personal charm.
